Transformative Behavioral Solutions

About

I entered this profession because I know firsthand how profoundly anxiety-based suffering can shape one’s existence. I have personally struggled with OCD, BDD, and PTSD. OCD, panic, trauma responses, phobias, and chronic anxiety can quietly constrict a person’s world until daily choices revolve around fear rather than freedom. I also know that meaningful recovery is possible when treatment is delivered with precision, depth, and genuine human investment.

Since 2019, I have maintained a private practice devoted to the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, trauma, and related concerns. Across the years, I have guided clients through intrusive thoughts, panic cycles, severe avoidance, trauma-based patterns, and long-standing fears that once seemed immovable. My work has consistently centered on helping people reclaim functioning, autonomy, and a renewed sense of possibility.

My broader professional background spans multiple behavioral health settings throughout the Greater Seattle area. I have worked in crisis response, acute psychiatric environments, intake and assessment services, residential substance use treatment, and short-term stabilization programs. These roles afforded extensive experience with high-acuity distress, complex presentations, co-occurring conditions, and the realities of psychological suffering under pressure. They also refined my capacity to remain grounded, discerning, and therapeutically effective when clients feel overwhelmed or stuck.

Relevant to OCD and anxiety treatment, I have also facilitated OCD-focused support groups and helped individuals implement Exposure and Response Prevention in real time. I have likewise supported individuals whose trauma histories, panic symptoms, or phobic avoidance complicated the clinical picture and required a more nuanced, individualized approach.

One dimension clients often find especially valuable is my ability to integrate clinical acumen with a genuine peer lens. Clinical training allows me to assess patterns, apply evidence-based interventions, and structure treatment strategically. Lived experience and peer-informed sensibility often enhance empathy, credibility, and attunement to the subtle realities of suffering that are not always captured in textbooks alone. The combination can create therapy that feels both expertly guided and deeply understood.

My clinical style is active, collaborative, and carefully attuned to the individual before me. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and other empirically supported approaches according to your needs, presentation, and goals. I do not believe therapy should consist solely of discussing problems without movement toward change. Insight matters; progress matters as well.

Clients often appreciate that I bring both seriousness and warmth to the therapeutic process. Therapy with me is intended to be a space where difficult truths can be faced without shame, practical skills can be cultivated, and growth can unfold with both depth and structure. My aim is not merely symptom reduction, but durable change that extends beyond the therapy room.

Outside of clinical work, I value the ordinary pursuits that restore balance and enrich life. I enjoy singing, dancing, reading, walking, and binge-watching television. Healing is not only about reducing symptoms; it is also about reclaiming the capacity to participate in life with greater presence, vitality, and enjoyment.
